Güth & Wolf produces over one million meters of textile narrow fabrics every day using cellulose-based and synthetic fibres,
in widths ranging from 3 mm to 800 mm.

We use around 200 different yarn types, particularly high-strength yarns like Kevlar®, Vectran® and Dyneema®. Several thousand different product types are woven, braided, scoured or knitted. Our customers come from a variety of industries, such as the automotive sector, load securing, composites, security and military equipment.

Wovens

Woven textile narrow fabrics are created through the crossing of warp and weft thread systems. We specify the variable dimensions and flexibility of our products in terms of the weaving structure, thread count and density.

  • Widths from 3 - 800 mm

  • Thicknesses from 0.1 - 20 mm

Special weaves

  • Shuttle weaving for seamless round tubular and other fabrics

  • Leno weave

  • Woven-tapered narrow-wide tapes and webbings

The material used determines the other characteristics.

Belt webbings made of Dyneema®are available in sizes from 10 to 100 mm, with a tear resistance of up to 100.000 daN. Abrasion protection webbings made of Dyneema® are available in various thicknesses and widths of 280 mm, 360 mm, 480 mm, 580 mm up to 800 mm – and as custom products as well.

Tubular

Tubular textiles are woven with a flat width of 3 to 600 mm and a possible wall thickness of 0.1 to 6 mm. Using synthetic fibres (polyester, polyamide, etc.). and/or high-performance fibres such as Twaron® or Dyneema®, we manufacture seamless round-woven tubular textiles in conventional shuttle weaving technology with extremely high lateral tear resistance and for high bursting pressures.

Braids

Flexible flat or round braids are produced by crossing longitudinal threads at angles greater or less than 45°.

We determine the dimension and stability of our products through the choice of thread thickness, the number of braided threads and the braid structure.

  • Width (braid flat) 1 - 10 mm

  • Thickness (braid flat) 0.1 - 2 mm

  • Diameter (cord round) 1 - 10 mm

A wide variety of effects can be achieved through the arrangement of additional thread systems; the material used also affects the other properties. Thus, it is also possible to manufacture round, hollow tubes.

Made-up parts

We can create custom solutions that are tailored to your requirements from our broad arrange of tapes, webbings and braids. Cutting, hole-punching, sewing, attaching grommets or extruding plastic parts – we can offer custom processing of even pre-made-up parts.

Double production widths

In addition to conventional narrow textile weaving of up to 300 mm, the expansion of our machine park enables us to manufacture tapes and webbings with widths of up to 600 mm. Our new machine technology offers enormous development potential for wide tapes and webbings. Some products – in particular for securing loads – are already available from stock.

Digital printing

Naturally, we also offer digital printing as a finishing process. Depending on the surface and structure of the textile narrow fabric, there’s no limit to the realisation of your ideas – from multi-colour customer logos to complex designs and even photorealistic printing.
